This is a short video I shot and edited to help promote Ford's Theatre's walking tour, History on Foot: Elizabeth Keckly.

Most people have not heard of Elizabeth Keckly, but she was Mrs. Lincoln's closest friend during her years in Washington.

Mrs. Keckly remained friends with Mrs. Lincoln after President Lincoln's assassination and later wrote a book about her experiences as a slave and in the White House.

This was a fun project to work on. It is one my first projects shooting a mobile documentary and I learned a lot on the way!
