Description:
This workshop will provide pointers on finding a successful twitter voice and role for your organization. Learn best practices on how to get the most eyes on your tweets. Gain insight on cultivating followers and tools for tracking impact and reach on Twitter. You will also get clarity on useful hashtags, twitter lists, local tweeting and geo location tweets.

Presenter Bios:
Chris Hunter is an accomplished Social Media Manager, Online Media Strategist, and Content Producer. Currently, he is the Website Manager for the Ford's Theatre. In addition to manages Ford's Theatre's Twitter and YouTube accounts. Prior to arriving at Ford's Theatre, Chris worked as an online content producer and has created online content for The Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, MHz Worldview, and the National Geographic Society. Chris holds an M.A. in Film and Video from American University.

Eric Shutt is a social media wiz with an eye for video and serious creative energy. A Political Science & Psychology graduate of the University of Maryland, Eric works on national public advocacy and creates custom social media strategies for clients in Washington, DC. Currently, Eric develops media strategy, messaging, and video for clients including Artomatic, The Community Foundation for the National Capitol Region, and Pink Line Project.
